Lorna Betts

Lorna graduated from Macquarie University with a Masters of Speech and Language Pathology and a Graduate Diploma of Speech and Communication. She is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP).

Lorna has experience working with children from 0-15 years of age in a variety of areas including: articulation and phonology, language delay, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), feeding, stuttering, literacy, and pragmatics. She has attended workshops for paediatric language disorders, trauma, and conflict resolution. Lorna has years of experience volunteering with children with ASD, and she has also volunteered with children who have literacy and communication difficulties.

She enjoys working with children of all ages and with a variety of needs, particularly those with ASD, stuttering and speech disorders. In therapy she ensures she builds a strong rapport with all her clients and their families and makes sessions fun and flexible.
