Speech Pathology Services has speech pathologists that have significant experience in assessing and managing children with a range of special needs and conditions including:

  • Tongue tie

  • Cleft palate

  • Dental and craniofacial problems

  • Chromsome differences eg deletion, trisomy, translocations eg. Down syndrome, Velocardiofacial syndrome, William’s syndrome, Prader Willi syndrome, Angelman syndrome.

  • Neurological conditions eg cerebral palsy, muscular disorders, low muscle tone

  • Visual impairment

  • Hearing impairment/loss

  • Severe speech impairment

Our clinic welcomes children with complex needs and conditions and our speech pathologists are passionate about working integrally with children and their family to facilitate the best and most independent communication and eating outcomes for their child.

Our speech pathologists are trained in a variety of specific speech and language programs (eg. Nuffield Dyspraxia Program, Hanen , Talkability) and augmentative communication systems such as Key word signing, AUSLAN and Signed English, PECs, Boardmaker and Proloquo2go and other electronic and digital methods of communication.

The clinic welcomes and is able to provide services to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clients and their families who are self managed or plan managed. All therapists are registered Medicare providers and are able to provide services under the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care benefit scheme.
